And thus begins another round of whitewashing history

The national archives museum has made a decision to remove displays that "might inflame the right," and replace them with things that might appeal to that group.

Yeah. Sure. Why talk about slavery or equal rights, the subjugation of native Americans, the internment of Japanese Americans, or birth control?

Why does anyone need to know about any of that?

This story made me chuckle

An organization managed to steal information from a company and then held it for ransom.

Its election day. Now get out there and vote!

And if you voted early, now is your chance to "vote often" :)

Seriously, check in with your friends and family and make sure they voted too!

Watch "Breakthrough: Voyager 1 “Phones Home” After 40+ Years Using Backup Transmitter" on YouTube

This is a good, short synopsis of the voyager mission. And the piece about the backup transmitter cycling on and sending a message back to earth is really cool! https://youtu.be/jn-rJyZQBjM?si=5pAsuByYSNI4FLIX

What the actual fuck?

The orange menace made a very serious threat to an individual. A citizen he would represent.  Essentially saying she should be killed because he doesn't like her.

I gotta agree with Kamala here. This should be the end of his campaign. He's not fit to serve. Period.

Here’s to hoping that THIS is the lasting image we have of the trumpster fire

In a garbage truck wearing an orange vest is really a summation of who this dope is.

And later when he went to a rally and wore the vest throughout (as Colbert said "like a 6 year old who won't take off his Halloween costume") and then danced to the song YMCA by the village people.

Especially since he has had multiple cease and desists about using that song. AND the song is somewhat of a gay anthem.

It's kind of perfect.

Carbon capture

A team of scientists at UC Berkley have come with a solid chemical compound that can be used in capturing Carbon. They describe it as a cross between a filter and a sponge and a mere 8 ounces can be as effective as a tree, and like a tree, the substance can be reused.

Its safe and non-toxic...and well, I look forward to hearing more about it as the y ramp up production and testing.
