RIP Margaret Hamilton, whose code saved the Apollo 11 Moon landing - Ars Technica

Sadly, we lost a true pioneer in the field of software development. And a pioneer who literally saved the Apollo 12 mission with her calculations. 

The fact that she was a woman is icing on that cake in a way….
